Naples Daily News Redesign
We would appreciate your feedback regarding your newspaper.
Because the newspaper will be produced on a new printing press, on smaller rolls of paper, we jumped at the chance to re-create a daily newspaper that better fits the needs of today’s readers. The result focuses on stories that are better organized and written more concisely. We understand that today’s readers are often pressed for time, so we’ll give it to you straight – in a more compact, easier-to-handle format.
And, no, the size of the type used for stories will not change.
To do all this, we reached out to readers to solicit input – through online surveys and in-person forums. Focus groups told us they want the most important and latest-breaking news on the front page, whether it’s local, national or international. They said that local news is the most important content, and they urged us to focus our efforts there. The groups also said they liked the idea of quick-hit news briefs on the front page. To take that even further, we have incorporated a “Daily Briefing” to provide a fast update for the national and world report pages that will appear following the local content.
None of your personal information is required to fill out this survey. If you would like to receive updates regarding the newspapers, please provide us with your email address.
